Code 'n' Splode is a group of geeky people who get together on a monthly basis to talk about geeky things. We are an open, relaxed, comfortable place to come and talk about programming and related subjects. The group is primarily female and generally open by invitation only.

This group came out of the awareness that there are often few women in geeky groups and a desire to encourage women to participate more in geek communities. However, we do not want to exclude anyone based on gender, so the group is open to all kinds of people. We try to focus on participation, encouraging people to speak up and ask questions, regardless of their skill level or experience.
